This year I have teamed up with my friend Taylor over at Taylor Takes Texas to get her input on some things she has loved for traveling as well!
#1: Travel Steamer
As someone who traveled for 6 of my 9 weddings, having a portable steamer is a must. We usually put it in our carry-on bag and make it worth the space!
#2: Jewelry Box
I’ll be honest, this box is on my list because I currently put my jewelry in a plastic bag when I travel and it is always a mess. This little box can transport all your basics to and from your next destination and they won’t get entangled.
#3: Air-pods Connector for Flight
I believe I am finally getting air-pods for Christmas this year and I know I don’t want to lug two sets of headphones to the airport any more. This converter allows you to enjoy your air-pods while also enjoying in flight entertainment.
#4: Our Favorite Portable Charger
For Christmas last year my mother in law gave us these chargers and we are obsessed. We have two of them always charging in our house for perfect on the go needs especially when traveling. There are no bulky cords and it can usually still fit in my purse!
#5: Hanging Toiletry Kit
I’ve seen thexd hanging kits for years but never thought I would benefit from one. I bought this exact kit before I left for Greece and I am converted. There are so many compartments for everything I need and easy access when it hangs.
#6: Fanny Pack
I’ll be honest, I thought these were cringe when they first came out. Now, I love mine and wear it all the time on the weekends. It is great while traveling as your items are right in front of you and can help with pickpockets.
#7: Monopoly Deal
There is always down time at the airport while traveling. What a better way to spend it than by playing a game! Don’t let the Monopoly name scare you off, this game is fun, easy and rounds last usually less than thirty minutes!
#8: Minimalist Wallet
I ordered this small wallet to not have to lug around my big one during my travels and I am completely converted. I haven’t gone back to my big wallet and I am so thankful. It fits in all my bags and I am able to have my id and top cards on me at all times. In Europe if I had a few coins it would stay in most of the time but I do wish it had a zipper.
#9: The Wander Club Key Chain
Taylor actually bought me this key chain as my gift this year and I love it! It is perfect for those sentimental travelers who have goals for the number of states, countries or national parks to visit.
#10: Noise Canceling Ear Plugs
There is nothing worse than trying to get a good night’s sleep on vacation but the noises of a new place throw you off. These earplugs act like the headphones but aren’t as clunky and get the job done!
